German R/A wall clock, 8 day time and strike spring driven unsigned movement in walnut and ebonized case, c1890
CONDITION:
case is in beautiful polished condition with no obvious losses or damage. Burl veneer has bold grain patterns throughout. Porcelain dial has some faint hairlines in the 2-3 area, porcelain pendulum bob and beat scale are fine. Movement ticks and strikes, looks clean. Coiled gong and gridiron pendulum rods could be shined up. Glass is wavy. Faint inked trademark on back of case. Ht 36"
